| Augie was really excited Christmas morning. I think he could smell his presents under the tree and jumped around when we started opening our own presents. In addition to getting a new collar, Augie also enjoyed wearing all of the leftover ribbons. He actually put one on all by himself.

| | Augie lucked out and got a Christmas present early. My mom sent him some rawhide candy canes. Augie could smell them right after we opened the box and kept insisting on making sure every package was open to see if it was them. It was pretty entertaining... I can't wait till Christmas morning and see how he'll go wild under the tree. |

| On the way home from California, Augie got a little sleepy in the back of the car. We caught him doing his "half-pant" where he sticks his tongue out just a little, but not a full-on pant. It's pretty funny because it makes him look so silly, if only he knew!

| | During Thanksgiving, Augie got a chance to enjoy sunny, warm California. I think it really tuckered the poor guy out. It was really warm this day, so hot that his favorite bed was too hot for Augie to lay on. He didn't want to leave California to come back up to rainy, cold Oregon. Can't blame him. |

| Augie loves chasing squirrels from time to time. In these pictures, we went to a new park so his nose was in overload with new smells and discoveries. He managed to run a couple of squirrels up a tree, but the funniest thing is the movement his tail makes as he runs. I swears it moves a complete 360, but maybe I'm fibbing a little.
