Feb. 28th, 2005

We've been watching Bubba, an English Bulldog, for a week. He and Augie played and barked a lot one day and finally passed out together. I swear they aren't this mellow most of the time!

Feb. 21st, 2005

Here's a picture Augie avoiding to go potty before bed. Sometimes it's just too cold or rainy for him and he snuggles up more, avoiding the issue. Eventually he will go, but one time he didn't and in the middle of the night, he licked our faces till we woke up and took him outside.

Feb. 14th, 2005

Augie loves to hang out on his pillow bed and watch us cook. We made some dinner for Valentine's Day and I know he wished that I would drop a little butter or something special on the floor for him. Sometimes he lucks out and scores a chunk of cheese or meat!

Feb. 7th, 2005

During our walk the other night, Augie rolled in something nasty. Even though it was only on his neck, you could smell him with a few feet. It's funny cause he just got a bath 2 days ago! He knew he was in trouble when he wasn't allowed on the furniture and when I spent 1/2 hour scrubbing him down at the dog wash to get the stink out.
