| I think Augie watched the movie "The People Under the Stairs" too much as a young puppy. He simply refuses to go down any unfinished basement, especially if there is minimal lighting. We've managed to convince him to come down to the second step, but that's it. Augie immediately has a look of fear in his eyes once he realizes that I'm going DOWN THE STAIRS! |

Augie has a fascination with his tongue. His motto is, "If I can sniff it, I can lick it!"
I find him licking a lot of things I would never dream of touching, but you can't blame him. Poor guy doesn't have opposable thumbs.

| Just like most dogs, Augie spends most of the day sleeping. It's especially touching when he pushes the pillows around on the couch and lays his little head on 'em.
