September 29th, 2003

Augie probably doesn't want me to mention this, but he's a pretty stinky dog. I don't know what happens with his digestion, but man, it can really be gassy. He seems to do it a lot when he sits down. He's probably doing it in this picture, even though he denies it :)

September 22nd, 2003

Augie looks pretty tough here guarding our backyard. As you can see though, he's really just licking his chops, hoping to get some the steak we were grilling that day. It must drive him nuts to smell meat and only get the left over bone or two.

September 15th, 2003

We took Augie camping recently and he had a ball. He completely got over his fear of water and had a great time diving for his frisbee underwater. As the you can see in the picture, he even just laid in the water to cool off. He would have NEVER done this six months ago!

September 1st, 2003

The one thing Augie loves more than sticks are bones. He especially loves the kind that are filled with peanut butter. He enjoys carrying them around the house and chomping on them. There comes a time when the bone has had its day and Augie had a hard time parting with them. Just look at his face.
